Moneual H67 Pro Review – Can the H67 Keep Pace with the Roomba and Neato?

Last updated: September 19, 2024 by Patrick Sinclair Leave a Comment

Remember when you were a kid watching “The Jetsons” on TV, and wondered if you would be alive for the time when robots would be doing household chores for you?  Well those times are starting to take shape, as anyone can now own their very own robotic vacuum.

The Moneual Rydis H67 Pro is a multifunctional machine that can clean your floors all on its own.  For those of you that lead busy lives you may never have to spend time vacuuming again. In this article, we’ll be doing our first look comprehensive Moneual Rydis H67 review.

Simply turn the robot vacuum on and it will use random algorithms to clean any floor or surface in your home.  The H67 Pro not only vacuums but it also has a mop mode, wet or dry, to clean hardwood floors or other solid surfaces.

The unit has a glossy black exterior and comes with a remote control that you can use to change from one mode to the next or power on and off.

It comes with a one-year manufacturer’s limited warranty, which covers product defects and failures but does not cover issues resulting from misuse or improper operation.

How the H67 Pro Works

The Moneual Rydis H67 Pro operates by using random algorithms to find its way around a room, it will continue a cleaning path until it hits something, and then it will change direction. It has special sensors to tell it when there is no more debris, once finished it will then return to the charging station on its own.

All you have to do is charge it, turn it on, and it will get the job done all on its own.  It has three different cleaning modes, vacuum, mop or hybrid mode, which transfers from vacuum to mop automatically.

The robot is small at only 13.7 inches in diameter and 3.4 inches tall, as well as lightweight at only 5.9 pounds. The dustpan has twenty ounces of capacity and it takes about two hours to charge, which will last roughly an hour and a half when vacuuming, a little less if you turn on turbo mode.

In mop mode, you can get almost five hours of cleaning from one charge.

In addition to the vacuum, you get a charging station, power cord, remote control with 2 AAA batteries, three dry and three wet disposable mop pads, a cleaning brush and two smaller brushes for the sides.  If you run out of the mop pads, you can use “Swiffer pads” as replacements.

It also comes with a screwdriver, cleaning tool and owners manual. The battery is a 12.8-volt lithium iron phosphate battery.

Operation

It features a remote for easy use and also has a scheduling feature.  You can set it up to clean once a day or once every three days, whatever your prefer. This means once you have it programmed you can basically forget about it and let it do the work at the scheduled times.

You also can set the robot to start cleaning an hour from the current time if you need a small delay before it begins.

If the unit’s batteries are running low, and you need to leave but will be returning with guests, you can put it on the charger and set it to “clean in one hour”, then when you get home the room will be clean and presentable. Be sure to set the robot to turbo mode if you want it to get the job done quickly.

Core Features

  • Smart sensor – Senses where the dirt and dust may be, and knows when it’s finished
  • Lightweight design – Easy for you to move up and down the stairs or room to room
  • Returns to charging dock – When it’s finished it knows to go back home
  • Remote – Won’t have to bend over to turn it on, just use the remote
  • Motor – Has 1.3 amps to get the job done fast
  • Large dust bin – Won’t have to empty it often
  • Bagless – Just dump the dust into your trash bag, no replacing bags
  • 1-hour delay-start – Can program to start when you leave the house
  • Schedule – Can schedule it to clean at the same time every day, or whatever schedule you prefer
  • Washable foam filter – To keep your home free of germs and the filter is easily cleaned
  • Voice feature – Tells you when it needs to be cleaned or emptied

Things We Liked

There are many things to like about the Moneual Rydis H67 Pro, of course the main one being the convenience of not having to vacuum anymore. Think of all the time you have spent over the years doing household chores, this unit is a big time saver.

The remote is a nice feature, which makes operation of the vacuum easy and simple.

The ability to automatically set up a schedule means that once you have it programmed, you really never have to think about it until you have to empty the dustpan. The pan is large enough that it does not need to be emptied often and there is no need for replacing bags, this saves time and money.

The battery life is adequate, letting the unit run from an hour and a half to two hours of vacuuming. The versatility to also do the mopping makes this appliance convenient and offers the ability to clean the floor surfaces for the entire home.

The lightweight design makes any maintenance or cleaning you need to do to the robot very easy to accomplish. If you need to install the pads for the mop, they are very easy to put on and take off.  The cleaning tool is also specially made for this robot, so cleaning the unit is fast and simple to accomplish.

Things We Did Not Like

One of the small annoyances with the robot is that it sometimes has a hard time finding the charging dock.  It will get close to the dock, but then randomly shoot off in another direction searching all over the room trying to locate it.

If it does not ultimately find the dock then you could find yourself with a vacuum that needs to be fully charged and cannot stay on the set schedule.

Because the robot does not have a camera on the top of the unit to judge its location, like some other models, the robot randomly goes about its work, which means it may take a while for the unit to hit every part of the room and finish the cleaning job.

It generally gets the job done but sometimes spends longer than it should to cover an area and figure out how to get back into the charger.  There are times it runs out of batteries trying to locate the charging dock and then you have manually put it into the dock.

Certainly not a major problem, but it can be a small annoyance for sure.

Also, the voice feature that tells you what the unit is doing or when it needs to be cleaned may not be very useful at times.  The problem is, if you set it up to work while you are not home then obviously the unit is just talking to itself.

If it needs to be cleaned or emptied, you will not be notified which could cause performance issues if you forget to manually check the unit regularly.

The Verdict: Does the Rydis H67 Measure Up?

In closing, we think that this is a good product for someone looking to own a robot vacuum.  If you want the absolute best robotic vacuum available then you may want to look elsewhere, but you should be prepared to pay more for it.

The Moneual Rydis H67 Pro will get the job done for you, but it may create some small annoyances along the way.

If you are prepared to spend this much on a vacuum, you may want to consider spending a little more and forgo the small annoyances.  It is not a big deal to have to pick up the unit and set it back in the charger if it cannot find it, but the question is why can’t it find it?

It seems like that should have been a quality control issue handled at the time of design and production.

However, the robot vacuum will still do all the dirty work for you.  It does not need much maintenance, you do not have to deal with bags and it can handle most surfaces and do them well.  If you want to get an affordable robotic vacuum then this one is a solid choice and will save you time.

Just know that it is not perfect. You can find it for a good price here, which is considerably cheaper than the latest models from Roomba and the like.
